The shear type (shear type) is a structure designed to create a displacement on both electrode surfaces of the piezoelectric material. It is effective for measurements in low-frequency ranges and in environments with significant temperature changes, as it is largely unaffected by the pyro effect (low-frequency noise generated by temperature changes in the pickup). Additionally, it has low paste strain sensitivity (the sensitivity to stress such as bending applied to the mounting base), which minimizes the impact of base distortion. The 4524 and 4524B models are lightweight, triaxial piezoelectric OrthoShear(R) accelerometers. They have three independent signal outputs to simultaneously measure three orthogonal directions. The 4520 model is a lightweight, triaxial piezoelectric accelerometer. Excluding the Microtech-compatible 4-pin connector mounted on the side, its dimensions are approximately 9.1 mm square. It has three independent signal outputs to simultaneously measure three orthogonal directions. Due to its adhesive mounting and lightweight design, it is suitable for modal testing. The 4520 model features a sealed structure. It has a shared structure, and the piezo elements undergo shear deformation. Acceleration pickup High-temperature 3-axis acceleration pickup [A/33]

Model A33 is a water-cooled, three-axis acceleration pickup for high temperatures. It can be used up to 900°C when water-cooled.

Three acceleration pickups are mounted in three axial directions on an aluminum block. The aluminum block has two titanium pipes for water cooling, to which tubes are attached to circulate the cooling water. The size is 28.0 x 28.0 x 22.4 mm (excluding the water cooling ports) and the weight is 3 g.
